The majority of crawl space problems come from an excess of water getting into the crawl space. The main culprit is the below ground sewer pipes that usually come in at the top of the crawl space where all the water first hits the home. So all that water hitting the foundation finds a way to get in a boom…you have a stream every time it rains.
I haven’t heard of any other company sealing these critical opening up. We have found that hydro cement works great and locks moisture out for good. We seal up these pipes before the plastic goes down. Other companies don’t do it because the plastic covers it up. They also don’t leave a humidity sensor so when the water comes in the pipe hole it raises the humidity in the crawl EVEN THOUGH the plastic is down and taped. Moisture finds a way.
